So I'm hopping the bandwagon and unfortunately dropping Shinji. There are many reasons behind my decision that I'm going to refrain from going into detail about, but the fact of the matter is there is nothing holding me here (except for one person, and you know who you are).

I do want to thank you all for giving me a chance to try him out, and I do love him, so hopefully I'll carry his awesome legacy with me.

Keep on keepin' on, gals. Sorry to drop the d-bomb on you.

Hello all,

May 2008 marks the one year anniversary for Bleach Beats. One year! That's pretty damn good for an RP, and by all means, we should be celebrating. In the past year, Bleach Beats has certainly had its ups and downs. It changed mods, lost a good number of players, and then gained a good number of players. And then gained more, and more, and more. Bleach Beats has had its moments of drama, but on the whole, has had much less than other RP's--which has certainly contributed to its longevity.

After having such a large cast for a while, BB has shrunk again. Change is inevitable, and new players and new chars do bring new life to the game. After months of relative inactivity, sindacirwen is no longer with BB. Perhaps the third time will be the charm for Ulqui, as it was for Grimm and Ichi. Much sadder is the loss of Jo, ratherbe4gotten, who has been a huge part of the game and our community for over 6 months. It was a complicated and difficult decision, but Jo has opted to drop all of her characters. She, and her Kira and Ikkaku, will be very missed.

So, that means that, along with other recent drops, Ulqui, Kisuke, Cirucci, Hiyori, Isshin, Ryuuken, Kira, and Ikkaku are now open and available for application. We continually receive new apps for BB chars every month, and are confident that some of these chars will be filled before too long.

As for BB's one year anniversary, and looking to the future... We'd LOVE to hear ideas and such from ya'll. The original plot at BB focused around the two bands. It was only recently that the we had enough chars to focus on that rivalry. Previously, BB has existed as more of a "Slice of Life" game based around the music industry in NYC. Again, the fact that BB continues to attract new players and readers means that we, as a community, must have been doing something right.

So, what do YOU all want to see happen at BB? What do you all want to pursue in terms of plot arcs and logs? Do tell!! We're very open to ideas. One plot arc we'd been discussing for some time was an awards show. If ya'll are pinged on this--great! We can certainly move in that direction. If people have other ideas--let's hear them. If a few strong ideas are generated, we could certainly discuss and then take a vote.

THOUGHTS? CONCERNS? HAPPY BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY BB?? Hell yeah! And many, many thanks to the dedicated players that keep BB fresh and exciting. We thank you, as always, for your continued enthusiasm and creativity.

lkajdsf I know I should have done this a lot sooner (in fact, I'm a little surprised I didn't get caught in an activity sweep), but I'm dropping Cirucci again.

I hate to do this, since I still love my memories of playing her here the first time and I was looking forward to playing with a lot of you, especially the ones I had to pleasure of meeting for the first time since I re-joined. But, I tend to have eyes bigger than my RP stomach and I really didn't have the time to commit to a logging game, especially when my muses for Bleach aren't as strong as they used to be.

I'm sorry for hanging onto the character for so long and never really getting to play and interact as much as I'd have liked (orz which is part of the reason I held off on this longer than was really polite). And I'm especially sorry to Gogo and Gogod for applying only to fade out so quickly.

Thank you for your time, all of you. And I really hope we can play somewhere together again.
